Practice
Description:
Megan
employs an eclectic approach with an emphasis on
cognitive-behavioral aspects, analyzing how thoughts and beliefs
that have developed over time can affect our current emotional and
behavioral patterns. Megan believes that our historical backgrounds
also play a significant role in who we are today and how we function
as a whole; therefore she believes that it's necessary to identify
and resolve these maladaptive patterns which develop over time, and
in effect, significantly hinder our ability to succeed. Megan believes
that we all hold the potential within to lead healthy and meaningful
lives. Through identifying strengths, recognizing maladaptive
thought processes and learning appropriate coping strategies, our
potential can not only be recognized, but expressed to our fullest
capabilities. |
