Practice Description: I work with a solution-focused counseling approach that has a cognitive-behavioral-emotional basis and an emphasis on personal integrity. Counseling is based on current circumstances, needs, strengths, and abilities of the client. Strategies include emotional expression and integration, interpersonal skills development, goal setting, individual creativity, and conflict resolution.

M.A., Counseling Psychology Bradley University, 1982	Training and treatment experience in the areas of: trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, crisis intervention, parenting and family issues, relationships, men's work, mentoring, mediation, group dynamics, and dream work.

A willingness to experience our feelings, how clearly we can express ourselves, how we are creative, and what meaning we assign our given circumstances are all areas of discernment ripe with the possibility of renewed energy and a fresh appreciation for our lives and those of the people gathered around us.
