Description:
I
enjoy working with a diverse population including children,
adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in anger,
anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, communication, and
wellness. In general, I use an eclectic approach guided by the
client’s needs. Many people benefit from solution-focused,
cognitive-behavioral, and family systems techniques. EMDR has also
been shown to be an effective and efficient mode of treatment for
certain presenting problems and is recommended whenever indicated.
My mission is to create an atmosphere of safety that fosters
authentic exploration of one’s sense of well-being. |

I have been providing counseling services to children, families, and
adults since 2000. I’ve been in private practice
since 2003 in Prescott, AZ and in Bend since 2006.
Previously I worked at St. Charles Medical Center,
residential treatment, and outpatient community mental health.
For 12 years prior to earning my master’s degree, I directed
residential programs for adolescents emphasizing experiential
education, service learning, and cross-cultural communication. |
