Practice
Description: I
enjoy working with a diverse population including adolescents,
adults, couples, and families. I specialize in adjustment issues,
anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationships, communication,
and wellness. I use an eclectic approach guided by the client’s
needs. Many people benefit from cognitive-behavioral techniques as
well as developing healthy
coping skills and learning how to regulate intense emotions.
EMDR has been shown to be an effective and efficient mode of
treatment for certain issues and is recommended whenever indicated.
I am also a certified Phoenix Rising
yoga instructor and yoga therapist. |

|
- I have been providing counseling services to
children, families, and adults since 2000. I’ve been in private
practice since 2003 in Prescott, AZ and in Bend, OR since 2006.
Previously I worked at St. Charles Medical Center, residential
treatment centers, and outpatient community mental health.
For 12 years prior to earning
my master’s degree, I directed residential programs for
adolescents emphasizing experiential education, service
learning, and cross-cultural communication.
