Description:
In 30+ years as a therapist, I
have found that patients want to feel and do better as quickly as
possible. Consequently, my practice is geared toward timely results
within a framework of respectful, confidential collaboration.
Encountering a range of emotions and problems by working with
patients from a wide variety of groups uniquely equips me to provide
highly competent assistance. Also, I can work with other resources
such as physicians, clergy, and support groups to provide patients
with the most complete services possible. After all these years, I
feel lucky to still be so passionate about the work. |

Since 1968, Dr. Horowitz has been an
elementary school counselor and teacher (3 years) a
therapist/clinical director in a full time private practice in Chula
Vista, Ca. for 30 years and a part-time clinical supervisor with the
Naval Regional Medical Center, San Diego Drug and Alcohol Treatment
Center for 15 years. He moved to Bend, Or. in Nov. 2005 and entered
private practice here in Jan. 2006. |
